Removal and installation of the LB3 piston

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove teflon rings (9) from flutes in a forward cover.
2. Install a stripper (020) on the spring plug (13) and squeeze it until the lock ring (15) is not released.
3. Remove a lock ring (15).
4. Remove a stripper (020).
5. Remove a lock plate (13) and a returnable spring (14) from the LB3 (12) piston.
6. Take the piston.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check radial sealing rings (16) and (17) and, in case of need make their replacement.
2. Establish radial sealing rings (16) and (17).
3. Install the plug (024) on a forward cover (10).
4. Grease the interfaced surfaces of sealing rings.
5. Install the LB3 (12) piston.
6. Remove the plug (024).
7. Fix a returnable spring (14) and the spring plug (13) of the LB3 (12) piston.
8. Establish and fix a stripper (020) on the spring plug.
9. Establish a lock ring (15).
10. Weaken and remove a stripper (020).
11. Establish teflon rings (9) in flutes in a forward cover. Be convinced of correctness and their installations. If it is necessary replace them on same, but smaller diameter.
