Dismantling and assembly of coupling of K1

Dismantling

Design of coupling of K1

1 — the Support of external disks
2 — the Piston
3 — Pruzhina
4 — the Spring plug
5, 11, 16 — Lock rings
6 — the Internal disk
7, 8, 10 — External disks

12, 13, 17 — Sealing rings
15 — the Disk spring
18 — the Directing piston ring
19 — the Ball
020 — the Stripper
A — the Gap in coupling of K1

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a lock ring (11) from an external support of external disks (1) of coupling.
2. Remove disks (6), (7), (8), (10) and a disk spring (15). Check disks for lack of wear and damages.
3. Install a stripper (020) on the spring plug (4) and squeeze it until the lock ring (5) is not released.
4. Remove a lock ring (5).
5. Remove the spring plug (4) from a spring (3).
6. Take the piston (2) from a support (1).
7. Remove sealing rings (12) and (13) from the piston.
8. Remove a lock ring (16) from a support of external disks (1).
9. Remove the directing ring of the piston (18).
10. Remove a sealing ring (17).

Assembly

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a new sealing ring (17).
2. Establish the directing ring of the piston (18).
3. Establish a lock ring (16) in a support of external disks (1).
4. Insert sealing rings (12) and (13) into the piston (2), - sealing edges have to be directed down (in the direction of arrows); install plugs (021) and (022) in a support of external disks (1).
5. Grease plugs and sealing rings with transmission liquid, carefully insert the piston (2) and press it in a support of external disks (1) without distortion.
6. Install the spring plug (4) and springs (3).
7. Install a stripper (020) on the spring plug (4) and squeeze it.
8. Establish a lock ring (5).
9. Establish a disk spring (15) and disks (6), (7), (8) and (10) in a support (1).
10. Establish a lock ring (11). After installation press a lock ring up the periphery before full installation.

Check of a gap

Measure a gap of "A", in case of need adjust it by a selection of a lock ring (11) of the required thickness (see an illustration 20.1). The nominal size of a gap "A" in coupling of K1 lies within the range of 0.7-1.3 mm. Lock rings 2.0, 2.6 and 3.0 mm thick are issued.
