Removal and installation of camshafts
Arrangement of camshafts
1, 1a, 2, 2a — the Top sliding levers 5, 6, 7, 8 — Camshafts 10, 12 — Covers 13 — Natyazhitel of a chain 14 — a camshaft bearing Cover |
The sizes of camshafts are specified in Specifications.
Covers of camshafts have sequential numbering, since a forward cover of the right final camshaft. Numbers are beaten out on heads of the block of cylinders. Covers of bearings have to be established in the same situation. |
Removal
1. Install the piston of the first cylinder in situation 45 ° before VMT. 2. Remove the top forward cover. 3. Mark the mutual provision of a chain of the GRM drive concerning asterisks of camshafts. 4. Remove a natyazhitel of a chain of the GRM drive. 5. Remove the top sliding levers. |
6. Remove a GRM drive chain from asterisks of camshafts. Turn camshafts by means of a key (1) so that cams were not pressed hydrocompensators (see сопр. illustration). Turn right final and right inlet asterisks approximately on 6 teeths in the direction of rotation of the engine. Turn the left inlet asterisk approximately on 10 teeths in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the engine. Turn the left final asterisk approximately on 14 teeths in the direction of rotation of the engine. |
7. Weaken covers of bearings of camshafts consistently so that to prevent any unilateral tension of the camshaft. 8. Uncover bearings and camshafts together with asterisks and regulators. |
Installation Deployment in control position of the right camshaft
1 — the Fixing cores 3 — the Key |
1. Grease hydrocompensators and necks of bearings of camshafts. 2. Install the left inlet and final camshafts with a GRM drive chain on asterisks, but without tension. 3. Oil covers of bearings, establish and tighten bolts of their fastening to 10 Nanometers. |
4. Turn the camshaft by means of a key (3) and check ease of rotation. |
5. Turn the left final camshaft by means of a key (3) in control situation. Establish a GRM drive chain in earlier noted situation, previously having blocked the camshaft a core (1). 6. Turn the left inlet camshaft by means of a key (3) in control situation. Establish a GRM drive chain in the early noted situation, previously having blocked the camshaft a core (1). The camshaft is in situation "lags". 7. Install the right inlet and final camshafts with a GRM drive chain on asterisks, but without tension. 8. Oil covers of bearings, establish and tighten bolts of their fastening to 12 Nanometers. |
9. Turn camshafts and check ease of rotation. |
10. Install the right inlet camshaft in control situation. Establish a GRM drive chain in earlier noted situation, previously having blocked the camshaft a core (1). The camshaft is in situation "lags". 11. Install the right final camshaft in control situation. Establish a GRM drive chain in earlier noted situation, previously having blocked the camshaft a core (1). |
12. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to removal. 13. Check control position of camshafts. |
