Dismantling and assembly of a multidisk brake of B1

Dismantling

Design of a multidisk brake of B1

6b — the External support of a brake B1
6c — the Piston
6d — the Return disk spring of the piston
6f — the Disk spring of the block of disks

6g — the Block of gear wheels
6e, 6h — Lock rings
073 — the Stripper
A — the Oil channel of a brake B1

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a lock ring (6h).
2. Remove the block of disks (6g) and a disk spring (6f) from an external support.
3. Establish a stripper (073) on a disk spring (6d) and squeeze it until the groove for a lock ring is not released.
4. Remove a lock ring (6e).
5. Remove the piston (6c) from an external support, carefully giving air to an opening (A).

Assembly

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the piston (6c) on an external support.
2. Establish a disk spring (6d).
3. Establish a stripper (073) on a disk spring (6d) and squeeze it until the lock ring 6e is not established in a groove.
4. Insert a lock ring (6e).

B1 brake section

6b — the External support of a brake B1
6c — the Piston
6f — the Disk spring
6h — the Lock ring
69 — Frictional disks

70a — the External disk 1.8 mm thick
70b — the External disk a disk of 2.8 mm 3.5 mm thick/new
70c — the External disk 4.0 mm thick
L — the Gap

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Insert a disk spring (6f) and the block of disks (96g) on an external support and measure B1 gap. Insert B1 brake disks together in the order presented on an illustration, and establish them in turn.
2. Install a press (078) on an external drive (70c).
3. Squeeze the block of disks against the stop (the otmetochny ring - a small arrow will not seem yet).
4. Measure a gap of "L" between a lock ring (6h) and an external disk (70c) in three points. The size of gaps in a multidisk brake of B1 is specified below in the table.

In case of need adjust a gap by a selection of a lock ring (6h) of the required thickness. Lock rings 2.6, 2.9, 3.2, 3.5, 3.8 and 4.1 mm thick are issued.

Establish the picked-up ring.
