Power shafts

General information

The car is set in motion by means of torque transmission from the transmission to wheels by means of two power shafts of different length. The right shaft consists of two parts. Boots of internal hinges are made of rubber, and external - of thermoplastic (thermoplastic is steadier against external influences).

Each shaft consists of three main parts: internal tripodny hinge, directly shaft and external hinge of equal angular speeds (HEAS). The internal hinge of the left shaft is fixed in a box with the help of a lock ring. The internal hinge of the right shaft is installed in specially intended nest of an intermediate shaft.

The intermediate shaft, in turn, enters the bearing located in a box and is fixed by means of the arm attached to the back party of the block of cylinders. External hinges of both shaft (CV JOINTS) terminate in shlitsevy shaft which enter shlitsevy naves of driving wheels. Shaft are fixed in naves by nuts.
